JustFundKY's goal is to help eradicate discrimination against gay, lesbian, bisexuals and transgender individuals in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. There are currently many great anti-discrimination efforts underway throughout the state. From Ashland to Paducah, Kentuckians are pushing for the fair treatment of LGBTQ people — in our workplaces and our government, in our churches and synagogues, in our schools and in our neighborhoods.

While there is no need to duplicate the work of these many organizations and individuals who are on the front lines of these efforts, there is a need to provide financial assistance to these efforts. That is where JustFundKY comes in, connecting money to missions that work.

We have built an endowment so that we would have a continuous revenue stream to support these anti-discrimination efforts. Mr. Cliff Todd generously offered to match the first $500,000 raised, dollar for dollar, to start the endowment. After an incredible four year campaign, the match was raised and the endowment is now up and running. There is a commitment not to disturb the principal of the Endowment. Only the earnings from the fund will be used each year to award grants.
