The JustFundKY Board is pleased to announce the 2016 Cliff Todd Endowment Grant recipients. After careful review and screening, the Board's Grant Committee has approved the following grants:
NEEDS ASSESSMENT OF THE TRANSGENDER COMMUNITY IN FAYETTE COUNTY
by Dr. Melanie Otis and her team at the University of Kentucky. $4,500
BLUEGRASS BLACK PRIDE
to sponsor 2016 Wellness Program and the Panel Discussion on Homophobia and Religion. $3,000
THE FAULKNER/MORGAN/PAGAN BABIES ARCHIVE PROJECT
to help with the developing and housing the contents of the archive as well as a public presentation of LGBTQ history of Central and Eastern Kentucky. $3,200
NEEDS ASSESSMENT OF THE AGING LGBTQ POPULATION OF FAYETTE COUNTY
by the Graduate Center for Gerontology in College of Public Health at the University of Kentucky. $3,000
PFLAG
for an advertising campaign. $3,200
MURRAY STATE UNIVERSITY
to promote their efforts to provide wraparound services for the Trans and Gender Non-Conforming Community of Western Kentucky. $2,000
PRIDE COMMUNITY SERVICES ORGANIZATION
to support their Gay Straight Alliance for Youth Empowerment Project and TransParentLex Workshop. $3,000
STATEWIDE FAIRNESS COALITION
to support education efforts in Woodford County, Shelbyville, Bowling Green and Owensboro. $2,500
LOUISVILLE YOUTH GROUP
to print their Sponsor Handbooks for their Gay Straight Trans Alliance Outreach Project. $3,000
ACTOUT THEATRE GROUP, INC.
to produce an LGBTQ play in 2016. $2,000
UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE
to help sponsor a day long learning institute as part of the 2016 Come Together KY Conference. $3,000.
LEXINGTON COMMUNITY RADIO
to support Latino LGBTQ programming. $2,800
