2017 Grant Award Recipients

The JustFundKY Board is pleased to announce the 2017 Cliff Todd Endowment Grant recipients. After careful review and screening, the Board's Grant Committee has approved the following grants:

Bluegrass Care Navigators (Formerly Hospice of the Bluegrass)

$2,000 for specialized training for staff and volunteers to enhance sensitivity of care provided to older LGBTQ persons.

UK Graduate Center for Gerontology

$3,000 for a statewide needs assessment of older/aging LGBTQ population in KY.

The Alphabet Center at EKU

$1,000 to support their LGBTQ Library needs and promotional material for tolerance.

Pride Community Services Organization

$2,000 to support the Transparent Health Care Workshop.

LGBTQ History of Kentucky

$2,200 to support initial research for the publication.

Lexington Community Radio

$2,800 to support Bi-Lingual programming on LGBTQ Kentuckians and Community Resources.

Bluegrass Black Pride

$2,300 for an Economic Wellness Workshop on Grant Writing and Fundraising, HIV Education and attendance at Creating Change Conference.

Morehead Pride

$3,200 for Keynote at Identity and Inclusion Forum at Morehead State University, Trans Speaker Ryan Sallans.

Kentucky Black Pride

$500 for speaker fees for the No Shade Conference.

Rowan County Rights Coalition

$1,420 for Public Forum and Panel Discussion on LGBTQ Issues.

Media Working Group

$2,500 for writing and consulting fees on Henry Faulkner, The Movie.

UK Gender and Women’s Studies

$3,500 Public Symposium on Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Sexual Freedom and Sexual Health.

Fairness Education work by local committees

in Bowling Green, Georgetown and Frankfort $5,000.
