The Cliff Todd Endowment

Kentuckian Cliff Todd has generously committed to help JustFundKY build a multi-million dollar endowment. He has pledged to match each dollar donated to JustFundKY up to $500,000. With income from the Cliff Todd Endowment Fund, Just FundKY will be able to make yearly grants to support equality each year, guaranteeing that such efforts will be sustained in Kentucky. We feel there is an urgent need for a local fund that can consistently provide resources for the unique and ongoing needs of Kentucky's LGBT citizens.

Once our initial fundraising challenge to build an initial endowment is met, generated funds will then be used to support various charitable and educational projects.

Examples of such projects might include:

  • a public exhibit in a rural community regarding the artistic contributions to society made by LBGT artists, wich may further greater community understanding of the common contributions and value of its own "invisible" LGBT citizens
  • another group may wish to undertake a project aimed at recruiting community businesses to adrop non-discrimination policies or domestic partner health benefits and seek funding to create educational materials regarding the benefits other companies have received through such efforts;
  • or a group may wish to educate the long term care community about the special needs of LGBT senior citizens

The possibilities are limitless.
